Various golf courses are sprinkled around the Italian Riviera and Liguria, with plenty close to Genoa and readily at your disposal. Situated within the Lerrone River Valley and established in 1965, the Garlenda Golf Club is just a short drive from Genoa and takes in some truly spectacular scenery, which comprises ancient olive trees and pine forests. From the most elevated hole you can even enjoy views of both the Maritime Alps and the beachfront itself.

Also popular and located around 5 km / 3 miles from San Remo, the Circolo Golf degli Ulivi in amongst the most historic golf courses in the Genoa area and dates back as far as 1932. The facilities here are excellent and include a driving range, practice green and a professional golfing shop.




Standing just 20 km / 12 miles to the west of Genoa, the Arenzano Golf Club features a much shorter, nine-hole course and so is perfect for a quick game. The Marigola Golf Club also features nine holes and lies to the south-west of La Spezia. Marigola actively welcomes visitors at anytime, except for Wednesdays, when the club is closed.

At around 31 km / 19 miles to the south-east of Genoa and enjoying a particularly beautiful coastal setting, the Rapallo Golf Club features caddies, equipment hire and even tennis courts.
